Seeking for Comfort Part II

Seeking For Comfort Part II

The way people perceived clothes is in pictures of clothed bodies. Dress is indeed a form of visual art, a creation of images with the visible self as its medium. The most important aspect of clothing is the way it look; all other consideration are based on occasions and conditions. The way clothes look depends not only on how they made but also on how they are perceived(by wearer and others).  People dress and look at other dressed people with a set of pictures in mind (pictures in a particular style). The style is what combines the clothes and the body together into the accepted contemporary look of natural reality.

Dressing is always pictures in making, with references to actual pictures that indicate how the clothes are to be perceived. The way looking at clothes may be multiform but it has a certain harmonizing and unifying visual quality, which will be constantly reinforced by the style of the pictures in which it is represented as natural.

From the interview I did with these lovely people on the street, I asked how they felt in that outfit to provoke the idea of self-actualizing through the representation of the self in clothes. Moreover the matter of feeling 'Comfortable' or 'feel good in it' is about subjective dimension of wearer in that style of dress. Style is what give wearer confident. To identify people and their clothes can be done in many forms and for many purposes, but what we can easily pick up from what we choose to wear is our state of mind.
